Hope you all had a lovely Easter break. I had a nice time catching up with family, IMO always the best way to spend the holidays! And, for a miracle, my internet is working and I am not so ill that I can’t keep in touch with you this week. So, all good.
The launch for Luck of the Irish, the eBook and the paperback, went well. It’s time for me to begin work on the Audiobook and Large Print. When the complete set of all the different ways to enjoy this anthology is ready I am going to ask you to request your local library to stock it. Librarians like to be asked to buy books! And it’s a great way for us to work together to raise money for this stunning cause.
Goodies and Bonus Books have yet to be despatched, but as I am feeling a bit less ill today, I shall begin work on that as soon as I post this. Just a headsup! A LOT of you bought this anthology and claimed your Bonus, and so I shall be setting up a special download page to meet the demand, pretty please be patient with me :-)
Today’s Triumph! It’s a Biggie. . .
Thanksgiving in Welcombe Bay nominated for the Clean Women’s Fiction category of the Incipere Awards took First Place and also took First Place for Christian Fiction. That’s two years in a row that a book of mine has taken Christian Fiction First Place, and today the committee invited me to send in my upcoming release To Serve My King as a Clean Mystery Thriller contestant for the 2024 Clean Fiction awards.
I hardly dare hope, but it would be so exciting if Hunt pulled off the Hat Trick!
As two of my books have now taken First Place in numerous international awards in 2022, 2023 and 2024, I have also been invited to enter the Awesome Indies Awards.
Hundreds of you (literally) kindly wrote to me to let me know that the last newsletter sent - on Easter Sunday - was in code. Sorry, I’ve given my provider platform a rap over the knuckles, and as soon as they find and fix whatever’s wrong I will re-send the newsletter.
There will be no Wacky Wednesday or Thursday’s Thought posts this week, but I will be back for Fun Friday with two new puzzles, and maybe a contest for you!
